Some ideas for ways to use this back to school calendar countdown tool in your home

1. Print out as a photo using a photo printing service. Fill out your child's name and grade using a permanent marker. Place in a photo frame on the wall and allow your child to mark off the days as they pass with a sticker, marker or dry erase pen

2. Print out at home, and place in a picture frame or place in a page protector sleeve. Use stickers, markers, or dry erase pens to mark off the passing days

3. Print at home and hang on the wall with command poster hanging strips and mark off the passing days with stickers, pens, or markers

You can print the A4 file onto 8.5"x11" printer paper on a home printer. 

Many home printers will not print directly edge to edge. You may have a white border around the edges of your paper when printed at home. TO avoid the white edges you will likely have to print it as a photo from a printing service.

HOW TO USE...

Step 1: Print at home or using an online/in-person photo printing service

Step 2: Fill out your child's name and grade they are entering into

Step 3: Fill out the dates leading up to the new school year. Starting with the final day before Day 1 of school at the bottom of the calendar, and work your way backwards for 30 days

Step 4: Frame, laminate, place in a page protector sleeve or leave as is. Hang in your home in your desired location for daily use. 

Step 5: Enjoy the fun daily activity of 'checking off' being another day closer to a new school year and new grade! By adding a sticker, dry erase marker, wet erase marker, or washable marker every day.

I was inspired to make these calendar countdowns for a back to school tool when my oldest child was starting school for the first time. I wanted to have a way to track the remaining days till school begun, in a pretty and interactive way.
